A blaze was rapidly tearing through a structure on Potrero Hill. The San Francisco Fire Department reported that firefighters were dispatched to a fire at 855 Missouri St. The call came in shortly after the clock welcomed 2026.
The SFFD successfully initiated an aggressive interior attack, a technique used to extinguish the fire from within and quickly bring the incident under control. According to a social media post by the San Francisco Fire Department, "Crews initiated an aggressive interior attack. No injuries were reported."
The San Francisco Fire Department post stated, "This fire is under control with no community members displaced."
